MSN Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger and now more recently Facebook and Twitter.
I rant about current affairs, books, music, politics, sports, celebrity wardrobe malfunctions and their intellectual nudities.
I was never particularly political at 21.
I never particularly cared when I was 21.
I wasn’t even really very mature at 21;
and I was going through the delusions of youth.
The India I grew up in, in the 90s isn’t the the India today.
Ignorance is no longer a blissful option. And apathy isn’t the solution.
It upsets me that I come from a city with supposedly the most affluent and influential in the country and a district with the lowest voter turnout. And this, especially in the wake of the Nov 26 attacks last year, is just unacceptable.
So I wake up every morning vowing to rant on in an attempt to reach out to the young and the restless, the dazed and confused and the lost and the waiting to be found, one tickle at a time.
